About My Little Coffee Tree

Because you wake up matters

The Story Behind the Idea

My Little Coffee Tree began with a simple but painful realization: even the people who grow the world’s coffee often cannot afford a stable life.

For generations, my family has been cultivating coffee in the mountains of Colombia. I grew up watching the beauty of the land, the dedication of the farmers, and the sacrifices they made every day. Coffee was more than a crop — it was identity, pride, and survival.

But year after year, I also watched something else: the price of coffee controlled by global markets, not by the farmers who grow it. One season we could harvest with hope. The next, the market price dropped — not because of quality, not because of effort, but because somewhere far away, someone decided the price of a farmer’s future.

That instability didn’t just affect numbers.
It affected families, children, dreams, and dignity.

I realized two things:

  1. Farmers need stability, not charity.

  2. People around the world want to feel connected to the origin of what they consume.

And that was the seed that grew into My Little Coffee Tree.

Our Family Farm Origin

The first trees you can adopt today come from my family’s coffee farm — land that has been cared for by generations of hands that know every slope, every breeze, every season.

My parents and grandparents taught me that a farm is more than a business.
It is a partner, a legacy, and a story written with soil and time.

The farmers who care for these trees are not employees.
They are family friends. Neighbors. People who have shared food, laughter, storms, and harvests with us for years.

Every tree you adopt has a real person behind it. Someone who wakes up before sunrise, walks the fields, checks the leaves, protects the soil, and dedicates their life to a craft that is often undervalued.

Our mission is simple:

My Little Coffee Tree wasn’t created to "sell a subscription."
It was created to give meaning, connection, and dignity back to the people behind your morning cup.

Let people adopt a real coffee tree for $1/month and directly support the farmer who cares for it.

No middlemen.
No complicated systems.
Just transparency, connection, and fair value.

When you adopt a tree, you’re not donating.
You’re not giving charity.
You’re becoming part of a relationship — one that benefits everyone:

  • Farmers receive a stable and fair fixed income.

  • Adopters receive updates, stories, and eventually traceable coffee from their own tree’s lot.

  • Communities gain visibility and long-term sustainability.

It’s a small dollar, but a powerful impact.

Why This Project Matters

Because behind every cup of coffee you’ve ever had, there is a person.
A farmer.
A family.
A land that gives more than it receives.

But the truth is:

  • Most coffee farmers cannot set the price of their own product.

  • They cannot predict their income.

  • They cannot plan for their children’s future.

  • They carry all the risk with none of the stability.

My Little Coffee Tree changes that. By connecting consumers directly with farmers, we remove the distance — physical and emotional — between the cup and the origin.

You don’t just support a farmer.
You see them.
You know them.
You value them.

And they feel that.

This project matters because humans matter.

Credibility & Transparency

My Little Coffee Tree operates with complete transparency:

  • Every tree is real.

  • Every farmer is real.

  • Every update comes from the actual field.

  • Every dollar goes toward guaranteeing a fair, fixed income for the producers.

  • In the future, adopters will receive traceable coffee directly from the same lot they’ve supported — paying only shipping.

We are not a charity.
We are a bridge — connecting you to the roots of your coffee and restoring dignity to the people who grow it.

This is farming with respect.
Storytelling with truth.
And community with purpose.

A Final Word

If you choose to adopt a tree, you’re not just supporting a crop. You’re joining a movement — one that believes small actions can create big change, and that every person deserves fairness for the work they give to the world.

Welcome to the roots of something meaningful. Welcome to My Little Coffee Tree.
